Bob Sannicandro

After playing high school baseball at Ashland High School, Bob Sannicandro was a four-year varsity baseball player at Framingham State College as both an infielderbob_sannicandro and outfielder (1972-1976). He continued playing at the semi-pro level in the Stan Musial League until 1988. Bob began his teaching and coaching career at Marian High School where he succeeded Bill Fulginite as head coach.

He returned to Framingham State College in 1982 as head coach of the Rams until leaving that post for Boston College in 1988. While at BC, Bob served as the primary hitting instructor and infield coach until returning to Marian High in 1992. His Marian teams won nine straight league championships and reached state tournament sectional final and semi-final games. After leaving Marian, Bob became the varsity coach at Keefe Technical School in Framingham where his teams qualified for the state tournament each year.

Throughout the years, Bob has also been an instructor at many baseball camps/ clinics across the Northeast. He left coaching 2002 to complete his Master's Degree in Secondary Education at Worcester State College (2003) and since 2005 has been working alongside Doug Carroll at Doug's Baseball Academy in Natick.-24
