Graduate of Holliston High School where he played Football, Hockey and Baseball. Went on to play baseball at Providence College where he lettered all four years and was named Most Valuable Player his senior year. During his senior year, Gerry led the Big East in total bases, extra base hits and set Big East record for most doubles. Set the ECAC division one record for most home runs in single season with 16 and was named to the All District NCAA Team, ECAC Division One Team and Big East First Team.
Gerry lives in Natick with his wife Lisa and two children; Brendan and Kristen. He coaches his son's Babe Ruth team in the Natick Little Leagues system.
