Southboro Little Leaguers pull even in tourney

BRISTOL, Conn. -

Nolan Kessinger and Connor Henderson led off the first inning with home runs to get the Southboro Little Leaguers on top early, and pitcher Matt Trehub pitched spectacularly to give the team its first win at Breen Field, a 6-3 victory over Shelburne, Vt.

It was quite different from Friday's game. Southboro gave up six runs to Maine, before scoring four in an opening round loss.
